I have found out that the dried darker brown young ktp leave make the water browner than the older ones. It is healthier to the fish as it has no or lesser trace of sap or slime compare to the bigger...

Pick up those that are really dry & crispy.

I pick my KTP leaves after Kranji MRT. The leaves there fantasically good. No slime at all. Sweet sweet colour.:p
