well the main thing is that the water tests are ok and good for the shrimp. I wouldn't have got the shrimp and placed them in if the ammonia or nitrate levels were above ideal.

I haven't cycled the full 4 weeks, but my ammonia levels dropped as well as nitrate levels. So I tried adding in some cherrys to test at first. They were fine and even had shrimplets. So far so good....

urgghh after reading heaps of threads, seriously considering getting a Hailea HC-130 or HS28A. So I can keep some CRS.

Will see how it goes with the fans and Cherrys in the next few weeks.

New 1.5ft Tank

I've jumped onto the bandwagon. Got a new tank and it's in the 1st week of cycling.

Working on bringing the temperature down from an ambient of 30 degrees in the day. Will be getting a fan soon....
