To TS, i did ask the same question when i was first introduced to the MP ohf slabs.. y price like that when i can jus buy the block and cut myself.. more value for money? Apparantly it has to do with the water flow and distribution eg for the normal mp blocks it's meant to be fully immersed, so when one uses it for ohf the water that trickles down through it will not spread evenly n flows straight through hence minimising the water contact area.whereas the ohf one is made specifically for ohf, hence even distribution for maximum efficiency. just my 2 cents.
