[QUOTE=ken_yg;5578968]Though I play with various kind of fluorescent, & diy quite extensively with T5 HO, I really do not know what to recommends, as everyone here has their own preference. Some prefer red in natural white light, & I love red in pinkish & daylight combination for photography.
We got more choices nowadays with pinkish T5 HO tubes (from cheap Hopar to expensive arcadia plant Pro, & probably many other brands too) coming into lighting scene.
I has yet to retrofit a T5 HO pinkish in Nan enclosure, but I think it will look good on red. Probably my next project? It can be fun to play around & move away from conventional bulky T8. U got more light & use less energy with T5 HO.
My latest ER pic has Nan at front top, two Arcadia T5 HO plant pro (sponsored by QH
), & a T5 HO osram 965 as main lightings & two old T8.
