haha... didn't think of that... in fact with that red plant i wanted to make my qilin rock a softer impression instead of being so hard and "lifeless"

there is a "caved in" area in the middle.. thinking of trying a clump of fissiden or HC. this tank is out of bound for my buceps. else the buceps will be taking away too much attention.. haha

hmm... good suggestions too. maybe in future when decomm this for rescape will reconsider cause this rock can placed in 4 to 5 different ways i realised. all the 5 different angles have different looks! this is a hell of a piece of rock that i doubt i will let go. ( there have had been enquiries from people whom have visited me in fact.. lol...)

My 4 ft scape, the rocks i got from a wholeseller near QH. Much the same like wood, throughout this few months of searching, i realised rocks and wood (BW, DW, etc) are all a fate in fact. for hobbyist like us with low PP, seeing a rock / wood and immediately knowing where to place these hardscape to achieve our desired outcomes is 1 in a million unless you are flexible enough to make do with some. learned alot of things from many hobbyist whom visited me to get their bucephalandras. really thanks to them all, that i have managed to understand the indept idelogy of scaping too. unless you are looking at boulder for tank larger than 4 ft, LFS will have sufficient rocks.

But this piece i got it many many years ago from a bro keeping fontosa. it was his leftovers from his fontosa hardscape and have been keeping this in my treasure trove since them
