In the first place, who set such a system that can be abused? So now his son and followers just exploit of it. Such system can never benefit the masses only for individuals agenda. Even if one day the opposition will to take over, same thing can happened. In order for the nation to progress, the system must change and the law should always be non-partisan.
It's over for the old man and his wife, nothing for them to suffer but only common people will get it.
