The brands of diffusors are not really a problem, it is more of the maintainence of the diffusor. ADA diffusors also suffer problems of algae (like everything in our tanks does) so proper cleaning of it is important.
Just get a normal ceramic diffusor that suits your budget and it should be fine. The bigger your tank, the bigger the disc's circumference should be. Those with coils is just for looks, it is not actual help, so no point getting the long ones with endless curling coils.
Bubble counters are also pretty much the same across the brands, save for the exceptional few like ADA. Like what i advise, get one that suits your budget.
NA and Ecoculture can offer a pretty good selection and advise. Even places like C328 stocks quite an arsenal of equipment. Check around.
