KH: 7 dkh (Weekly dosage of 2.5 teaspoon of KH buffer still unable to bring the KH value maintain at 10dkh weekly. Any advise?)
Ammonia: 0 ppm
Nitrite: 0 ppm
Nitrate: remained 20 ppm
sg: 1.019 (refractometer)
Ca: 320 mg/l

Also introduce a chiller which set to 28C, and a 9W UV.
Thinking of DIY a algae scrubber to reduce the nitrate. Is it a good approach?
Algae scrubber is a good idea if u have space between yur sump and tank bottom (if u r thinking of a smaller scrubber screen on top of one of yur sump compartment) whereas refugium will need slightly more space unless u r talking about an independent scrubber..... if successful, scrubber is an excellent method for water management...
