So, the mother of all questions - HOW TO GET RID OF THEM BLOODSUCKERS!!??

The most common way is those spot on you apply to the back of the pet's neck.
The chemicals is absorbed into the bloodstream by the skin. Critter bite and suck blood, tick/flea gets poisoned and died.

Brands available in SG
1. Frontline
2. Revolution
3. K9 Advantix
4. Advocate
5. Advantage
6. Accurate

There are also dog shampoos/wash that also kills those critters.
Critter comes into contact, critter dies.

My Fav being
1. Carrington Dog Wash Concentrate - TO BE USED WITH CAUTION, esp on small dogs.
2. Kelco Super Sterilization dog shampoo

My Ah Ma strongly recommend Kerosene. HOWEVER, I'm betting it will sting like siao and not recommended for smokers. **ba-boom**

Recently in market there are now chewables too!

ACCORDING to the persons I was chatting to at the booth... some vets have also been selling to pet owners for tick control.

Cat/Dog eats tablet. Body absorbs the chems. critter bites and sucks blood, critter die.

Nope, I dun use this as I have rather senior dogs.

1. Comfortis
2. Capstar
3. Bravecto

Tick/Flea Bomb/Fogger

This is to be used in addition to the above to kill off them critters in hiding.
Use in caution when you have fish tanks around. And makes a mess too.

As always, prevention is better den cure.
Weather like now - heavy rain, wet ground etc kinds of force them critters out and floats around waiting for next buffet.

Always check your pet regularly.
