currently I'm waiting to collect my 5x2x2 and gotten an FX-5 from bro riise
Since it's the same topic please don't mind me hijacking!
I'm going to use just the FX-5 for my tank and will monitor and will probably add another smaller cannister filter if there's a need.
Read that the difference between the biohome and biohome+ is that biohome+ have nutrients so the bacteria grows faster. ie, less cycling time? Can anyone verify that please
I plan to add ceramic rings into 1 tray, coral chips + biohome into another tray while the most bottom tray I'll put activated carbon. Do you all think it'll work? Each tray i will most likely cover the top with a cut-to-fit japanese mat..
Forgot to add, my fauna would be ITs, bichirs, 1 x L190, an aro and other predatory fishes.
WC should be 15% every 3 days as i use the water to water my plants at home
