aiyo...just feed less food to Tilapias...and they will start working...

Just to update my own thread for posterity sake. FF and tilapias can get along. FF is now very hardworking. Cleaning up the tank. Should be completely clean in a few weeks.

The Alpha is the male. After fertilising the eggs the female will carry it in the mouth for approximately 2 weeks, at that time the egg sacs would have disappear and the frys will be free swimming swimming back to the safety of the mother's mouth when in danger.
Supposed to remove the fry's now or the mother will eat them at some stage.

I'm not sure. But the dominant males will be lighter in colour, have their corners to defend. The females are smaller and will have the pouch down when incubating.
