Hi jwhtan, the farm that declined are local or Msian farms. Since there is intention for msia durian trip, maybe msian fish farm can draw some attention.

Is there a system where the committee can roll out a small list of popular site and members can vote for which will be a better choice, hence attendance may be better if the votes are from the majority.

Yes it is open any point of time. Full year membership fee applies till end August 2013.
