Question Striped Horned Snails growth & health qns

Hello!
I have six yellow and black striped horned snails which i have kept for several months now, and i've noticed one of them (in a less algae filled tank) has its foot become a little paler than the rest. Is it because I need to provide it more food? Any advice on how to do this without fouling my nano tank?

Also, what is the life span and growth rate you've noticed for these snails?

your feedback and help would be much appreciated thanks!
