For me, my other 2 GATFs had no luck in MP training. However i have a smaller VATF that readily eats MP, Sutchi and even pellets

I feel ATFs are much easier to convert to MP , compared to other fishes like armatus
Nice
Had no luck with GATF so far when it comes to MP training.

I should've gone and gotten a GATF. My 8" VATF still very skittish... dashes the moment there is sudden movement.

Not necessarily bro. I have a smaller VATF that i feel is the opposite of yours.
My GATF seems more jittery.
And IMO, VATF's are easier to feed when it comes to pellet and MP training.
Just my thoughts

Hmm.. guess its just the fish's character i guess. I've blacked out the sides of my tank and it seems to have calm down alot. Though it still freaks the moment i put in a net to clear dead/half eaten feeders.

I failed terribly when trying to convert my comm to MP. Whenever i try to starve them the whole comm become enemies. Had a 5-6" Tatauaia nearly ripped into half by my vatf and amartus during the starving period. The wounds were so horrific that i didnt try anymore.

Yeah.. i think i mentioned earlier that my PB swallowed a smaller VATF whole?
I was also trying to convert them to Sutchi fillets...
Predatory comms always have an element of risk involving them eating each other i guess..
