My first ever arowana
Hi all, I just got myself a new 4ft tank to fulfill my wish of keeping an arowana. Just went shopping earlier today and managed to catch one.. It's just an entry level piece of bbxb, but as they always say.. You like, you buy..
As the piece was commed with other xb in the LFS, it has a few defects. Think there's a dropped scale and some split fins. Can't complain for the price of an entry level aro though! Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk |

Thanks bros for the encouraging comments. Hope to update in a few weeks when the fins are healed and with better lighting.

Is it typical for a TFB to have fin nipping tendencies? My TFB was harassing the xb after it was introduced in to the tank. Had to remove it so that the xb would not be unduly stressed.

Day 1, bite size market prawn
Day 2, frozen blood worms So far, still not making a move for the food.. Haiz. The beginning is always the toughest to watch I suppose. Nothing beats watching an arowana happily snatching food out of the water column. Tomorrow must go and buy the floating pellets from QianHu already.. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk |
