Try spray some insect spray on the surface regularly. They are scared of the chemical smell.

The best is still to put up bird spikes like what the hawker centre does.. it prevent them from landing..

These birds (esp Mynas) are smart... after awhile, they know the scare tactics. Even these spikes doesn't ensure 100% cos from time to time, i do get 1 or 2 birds getting onto e compressor (despite e spikes) but it's still useful cos it's only once in awhile. I also don't get bird droppings on top now.

I bought those cd from daiso and put near my kitchen windows. Alr a week and it seems to work. Don really see birds landing on the bamboo.
Before this, kitchen windows we only open less than a quarter. 2 incidents where the yellow peak came into the kitchen and the other cant find it's way out and keep flying in the toilet with shits all over. Think will get more and place on top on the compressor so it will be more reflective when sun shine on it. |
