U try tasting bo?

I know wet market got 2 types, those salted ones for ikan billi. The other type no salt added for omelette.

The IQF one i've been gettin frm Sheng Shiong (coz it's like punggol no wet market) - confirm no salt added... i ever did taste before.
CONFIRM raw. dun believe u leave the pkt of thawed ones out for an hour... i guarantee u stink die. Spoil faster in air den water for sure.

Reason? How u think i found out wet market have 2 types....

Btw hor.. i also think less wastage... prawn actually easier to add chem to "keep fresh" w/o being obvious compared to fish.

I'm trying Japanese herring now.
Convenient (free delivery above $80) and hassle free, just defrost and feed. But not cheap @$17/kg. Comes frozen in one blood worm size Styrofoam box per kg.
Only three arowana (out of 21) readily accepts.

I fed lean pork, most of my arowana loves it. But rays, bichirs and datnoids reject.
If feed mp, I cannot tahan. Almost 2kg per day.
Very costly and heavy buying in bulk (15kg per week).

I'm thinking of trying fresh ikan bilis....

Fresh small fish should be more nutritious than mp.

Herring at $17/kg too ex for me for long term , also water tends to be bit oily after feeding it.

I ever buy sala frm wet mkt. End up fish mai jiak, i had to do a MASSIVE WC and my gloating laobu enjoyed the balance 1kg (less tat 1 scoop only how many gram lor..) deep fried by herself.

bck to the silverfish/whitebait/small fish/omelette fish... I usually get from Sheng Shiong. EVERYTIME got promo... i'll grab a few boxes... since is frozen... on ave my fishes (now only left the silver, the 2 oscar, the gar) finish the box in ard 2 weeks.
This is 8+ for a box. But hey, I dun need to peel shell, All i do is cut them to 1/2 to fit the daiso icecube tray to freeze.
