Default air pump filter

Just bought a very powerful 15 watts air pump. I suspect if i use all 4 outlets with foam filter for a 4 feet tank, it will be enough filtration for keeping a pair of 8-10" cichlids very well.

What do u think?

Just foam filter? Mechanical filtration maybe is ok. How about biological filtration?

Not really enough. If there is ammonia and nitrite then not ok.

20" of fish? That's a really high bioload.

Try to DIY a moving bed using 2 1.5L PET drink bottles. Your air pump will come in handy.

Not 2O fishes. One pair of adult cichlids.
