AF 2009 Anniversary Celebration

Dear members

We had originally planned to hold a competition together with our Anniversary Celebration this year. However, as there will be a competition in Aquarama and we understand that some Aro breeders are planning to hold one in December this year, there will be one too many if we go ahead with our plan. Therefore, we will not have a competition this year.

We understand that in our past celebrations, many had a good time. However, those who helped out in the organising and logistics may have missed out some fun. Therefore, for 2009, we hope to be able to engage an event company to help with the organising and have spoken to some.

Engaging an event company will certainly cost us some money, but we hope that more members will support the event and all can enjoy the party.

We hope to receive your feedback on previous parties - what was good, what can be improved - especially from those who have personally attended these events. You can also link previous related threads for reference. We also welcome any suggestions that anyone may have. some ideas for all of you to think about - theme, activities, do we want a cake, type of F&B, etc...

The event companies will be checking out this thread to see what our members want before doing a proposal for us. So, please start the ball rolling...

Book entire Bistro/Bar...hv buffet and drinks etc...i'm sure many bro/sis will be attending...source out places and ask for their menu pricings etc...during these downturn many places offer big discounts....
