noticed that also... when add new one, whole tank become active. Then mine will all become lazy - maybe because eat too much.

I think the more you add, the more they play. I have 25, so mine are always playing.

Agree. Also notice some types of Cory are more active than others. For example, in my tank the most active and bold type are the eques. Never shy to swim around the whole tank and even jostling with other bigger fish like discus And Altums at surface for food.
