need some help here after 1st Cuban dead cause of broken back...

as found that Cuban is quite a skittish gar. thinking of putin some things (eg. DW, plants..) for it hiding place.

any bro/sis gar keeper can share their tank deco will be great.

I used to put several dw for my gar to rest behind, but for my gar, its not skittish so i seldom see that fella rest behind. In fact.. rest on top of it..

but DW would be good bro..

but not sure whether if having dw for ur cuban, will it be more dangerous if your cuban decides to dash around one day.

try to put big smooth rocks maybe? those like 12inch wide kind?

I wouldn't add DW, as they could very possibly crash into those as well.
I'd add a lot of plant cover to make the fish feel more secure.
