Good to see Lungfish lovers, I am a long time Lungfish fan and have kept a variety of african lungs....currently only have a aethiopicus.
This albino dolloi is indeed beautiful, congrats bro. Maybe can put a fine layer of black substrate and bring out it's contrast.... For me, still awaiting the ultimate aus....hehehe....anyone got good connections? |

wooaah! lungfish thread! I have always been curious and intend to keep one too. But I have a 5 feet tank with like 7 polypterus, a gar and a silver aro. Can they be tankmates? Little i know about them but I watched videos off youtube and I feel they are beautiful when grow big. I hope I can learn more from you guys! Thanks... will be reading your comments.

Better to keep the lungfish in a solo tank, it tends to take a bite out of other tankmates randomly.

huh.... I don't have space for a solo tank. In that case i just have to admire them from aquariums or videos.
I hope you guys can post your lungfish tank... |

hi Ledzepp, maybe can post a pic of ur beautiful giant. Auz Lung is not as rare as it seems but due to the restrictions, everything came to a standstill.
bichirfunk, lungfish comm is not impossible, haha...juz very dangerous. last time most lfs comm their lung in crowded tanks. at the very least, tankmates cant be too aggressive, too small or fin nippers. revive the lung!!! |
