Cloudy eye .... You need to treat the whole tank. Remember to increase the aireation in the tank when treating with medi. Do a 80% Wc first, likely some bacteria infection.

hi everyone, I'll only be able to update during the weekends as I'm not home during the weekday.
thank you all for your advice and concern. I'm apprehensive about applying medication as the tank's been stable. Just keeping my fingers crossed when i get back during the weekend. |

Update 4 days later
After cleaning all the filters, both cannister and mechanical, the spread seem to have slowed but the bumps are still the same place with no reduction in numbers.
I'm thinking if this might be internal flukes? cos some of the bumps can see skin of the Panaque. no fungus so far. same pictures. 25th June 28th June pictures https://flic.kr/p/nR3Cd5 https://flic.kr/p/o6uPfL https://flic.kr/p/o8eQe2 can anyone identify this disease? I've see something similar on my big Panaque nigrolineatus occasionally, however its only ever been a single larger area, rather than several smaller ones. I didn't do anything to treat it, just maintained good quality and it went.
It looks like some sort of bacteria to me. Maybe the filters got disturbed too much and caused a mini cycle, resulting in bacteria bloom from the extra nitrogen waste. |

If it works, keep up with frequent wc to keep the offending bacteria in check.

If they ate like dents. Yes i have encountered and treated before.
If they are pimple like. You might want to apply some parasite medication. |

it's skin lesions. with open sores. and now mouth fungus with bloat. fin rot.
seems like a bad case of bacteria infection. I've started treatment with API Furan-2 and aquarium salt in hospital tank. fish is displaying stressed colouration constantly. fish is not looking good. already lost a 11 inch xingu this manner. The filtration is more than adequate and regularly maintained. Suspecting it's stress from a group of clown loaches. The clown loaches are all healthy and fine. |
