New Catch/Update - Armatus
Sharing my new catch from NKS , 3x 4"+ Armatus . And update on my comm
Lifestock: 1x 4-5" Kelberi 1x 4-5" Orino 3x 4"+ Armatus 1x 5-6" Red Tail Payara 2x Common Pleco All the fishes refuse to eat when the lights are on .... Even the peacock bass . No choice but to stock up tank with feeders so they can eat when the lights are off . no idea how to make them eat when the lights are on ... any advice ? The orino just dont move , like in the picture . But his feeding well when the lights are off . Is he sick ? Any Advice on MP training the Armatus? maybe you can try putting a DW in the centre of the tank

dont look like orino leh, maybe too stressed already. you should get a couple more pbs, might help. water's all good i presume?

The driftwood , how big should I get uh ?

Fishes stay at the corner most of the time ?
Try adding some deco in the middle of the tank to create some "calm" spot, turn off the wavemaker and monitor. |

some driftwood or bogwood will be good for them, look like their natural habitat

my driftwood in my payara tank is a tall driftwood , you could find something similar as well , you can check out my previous threads for the driftwood i put in my tank

Yes, you are right abt the current and oxy part but you need to observe the respond/behavior of your fish. From what you mentioned it simply mean the current is a little too much for the fish to handle.
