If u r not filling up the tank with water or livestock, save up enough money for the stand.

Its a hassle to move the tank once your livestock settled down. Remove water then look for temporary tank then put the stand. I reckon that.

Like Bro Martin said, weight consideration as well.

Not advisible for a 5ft tank coz the weight with water inside is at least 500kg. If its a 2ft tank, still can use a table to support temporary, but not a 5ft tank.

Person whom construct the stand must be some1 who knows both tanks n Construction material.
Cannot just simply find a person who weld metal or carpenter who construct furniture coz weight of tank has to be added into consideration.
5' really no joke bro!

U wont wanna be moving a 5' tank once its being set up. As per advised, try to get a stand before starting on anything, even a normal metal one is better than none, unless u jus wanna put it on the floor, but thats quite ugly.

Try the market place, look for sale thread and see if anyone sell jus stand alone, u will be surprised. Alternative method is look into sale thread of 5" tankset and see if there is someone who is only interested in the tank, contact him and u guys purchase the set and them split up the item and pay accordingly.

Good luck

I think without the budget of a tank stand. This is an excellent idea too. But Onli can use canister or OHF filtration. Cannot sump tank
