If you are worried about mosquito larvae, they will likely appear in your sump. I see some pond keepers keeping small tilapia in the sump tank as they are very hardy fish.

thanks I have somemollies that were able to get intothe sump, but my other side of the sump has a UV light, so dont think fish will survive.
i'll add mosquito fish and hope they are too small for arowanas.
will convicts be good? i'm worried they mioght breed too much
