Baby arowana needs help
Dear bros n sis... just bought a baby arowana at lfs last wednesday. When it first introduce my tank, it was always staying at the bottom behind my water pump. yesterday did a 50% wc and it keeps floating at the surface... it doesnt swim around and had not eaten since wednesday..
Please kindly advice. Btw may i know what breed is this arowana? Should i transfer it to my 4ft tank now cos currently he is in a 1.5ft tank. Thank you very much... |

Small aro in big tank? How big is your tank? Apart from water issue, may want to keep lights off or dimming it for couple days.

Most likely is the water change u perform yesterday, straight from the tap?
Try to lower the water level turn on the air bubble to the max and on your heater 30 deg. |

Ts, is there a certificate from the lfs verifying its origin?
Too young to tell anything. Lower water level in tank. |

50% wc direct from tap water is dangerous and risky.

Hi Bros...
The baby aro didn't survive that night... very sad... made a very stupid mistake by doing a 50% wc.. |
