Black water and pleco

Hi any bros add black water in their pleco setup ? Any advantage to it ? Thanks

Bro.. no need for black water..
important is u must condition ur water parameter well..

Blackwater can be added as additive, no harm to try. I put K leaves in with my tank with catfish and silver dollar. The fish colors are better and fish calmer, SD don't dash around and bang walls.

off light becomes black liao leh... on light is white. Good for breeding... highly recommended

Thanks mod for clarifying the oo Zui.

black water can enhance breeding process for pleco but not a 100%. peat and ketabang leaves are both good thot if you looking for different ways to make the pleco breed. Environmental wise for grooming, a regular water change plus stable pH is good enough.
