So you disagree about Al Jazeera too? You believe the official explanation given?

Besides you were not intending to publicise about the country being under threat by tiger mossies but talking about informing residents. I am referring to the negative perceptions by foreigners on Singapore.

We are not on the same frequency.

as the punitive manner of NEA is from the beginning of time, don't think it is working so well to contain the mosquitoes.

if only they spend the 10 mil on fogging the whole country will be a more effective and adding those chemicals to kill the larvae will be better spent.

fine people only makes people more antagonistic, as i dont think everyone deliberately wants to breed mosquitoes. You just cannot chase every small pool of water in every corner.

Just fog all the buggers until the nos become insignificant to worsen the spread will be money better spent , rather than printing pamphlets worth 10million.

NEA should work harder instead of making it their priority to punish house owners. Always gets their priorities wrong, like planting the wrong trees, and blaming act of god.

Nparks does a lot of studies to try to get the "right" tree
imho nparks doing very well
still need to reduce falling trees..

if nparks planted the tree dont agree is "act of god"
unless those trees were planted by "nature"

2 cents

Green areas in general, cemetaries, nature reserves, road side grass verge, parks, state land. There could be vast areas of turf or grass areas where the grounds are uneven which lead to ponding, and hence potential breeding grounds.

cannot fog pte property

can, they shoot the fog through the drain into the house.
tried before, theoretically not fogging the landed property but the whole house like on fire whole house , full of fog.
luckily my aro and kois survived the onslaught

i really dont mind if they can bring the mozzies down.
