Qns...how to pump them up to pui pui?
Looks good, but a bit thin. Anyway wc teugelsii cannot pump till pui pui look like endi or others bichirs. Maybe is the way they are built, that makes them look thin and cannot grow fat. The head flatter and body longer than normal bichirs. The last time I had them, they remains that way for the 2yrs I reared them.

Maybe someone else knows somes tricks that I can learn. Got a cb teugelsi that looks thin also.

last time I only put 2 table spoons of aquarium salt after every wc for 6ft/7ft tanks...I think if do large wc will need to add salt...

Keep bichir so long didn't know salt is needed.

My experience of pumping bichir best is with live feeders like platy...as they are attracted to it. Agreesive pumping is everyday one packet, they will consume all in the middle of night (not sure why do they eat while we sleeping or lights off) and next day renew a packet. Both CB and WC love them.

Really got no time to prepare feed for my bichirs...hence I went to Giant and get Ribbon fish portion...$5.90/pkt of 1000g...no scale no hard bone not oily...washed cut and fed...really good alternative....
