may due to Ammonia spike, ph shock. U will feel better few days latter.

very common problem faced by beginner.

Keep it up, learnt from experience. and u will get better each time.

I'll suspect poisoning of some sort if all 3 died within same day. Few parameters I would test out:

- If tank is new, did you soak it few days? (soak out toxic from glue)
- Your water pipe directly into tank or use a pale to transfer? (check if pale is being used for other purpose)
- Did you fill up the tank gradually? (sudden change in parameter temp/ph/hardness/chlorine could shock gf)
- Source of water? (direct from pipe or reservoir)
- Cloudiness could attributes to bacteria boom (but unlikely overnight), or CO2 saturation. Your air pump/OHF running? This could've been the main cause of death.

I have a 3ft tank with 7 3-6" gfs. During my 3-4days WC cycle, I change 50% - 80% of the tank water, and hose straight from the pipe into my tank, but at a slow rate to ensure a gradual change in water parameter. It takes about 3 hours for the tank to fill up.

Try outline your WC steps perhaps we can help pin-point the fault.

Its the lesson from mistake that gives you the experience to keep healthy gfs. Dont be discouraged

Cant pin-point on any areas which went terribly wrong.

But you suffered the same fate that I had months back. I had many ranchus that died on me before. Gill flukes, PH problem, birds, etc *Sigh* ... so take it easy ... tell yourself ... "I will be back" Most importantly, learn from your mistakes.

Observe your fish for symptoms and administer treatments/water change accordingly at the earliest sign of trouble

Cos ... most GFs are as good as gone cases once they show obvious signs of sickness

All bros here I am sure will extend their help to you. However, do let us know, 1) What is kind of filter did you use?
2) How often do you feed your fishes?
3) What kind of food?
4) What parameter of the water before and after water change?
5) Any sign of illness before water change?
6) How was the water prepared before added into the tank?

Rgds
