Keeping Macrostomas is a challenge, but once you get the hang of it, i think it will be easier, do some readup on the water parameters required for this species. Or ask around the forum for advice.

Read up from the internet and see if you are ready to keep macrostoma.. they require cold water, meaning you need either a chiller or an air con room to keep them. the setup will cost you some amount of money not to mention the fish yet. But once they are stable you will be glad that you made the investment.

Thick banding on betta Albimarginata, this guy is a one eye jack, but that does not make him infertile! Haha, just released his spawn last week and now looking ready for the next spawn, a smaller version of a mouth brooder similar to Macrostomas. Sorry for the blur pics, i hope to change to a better phone soon!

Looks like Wild Betta channiodes look like the Wild Macrostomas and Wild Albimarginata.

Are these group under the same strains / family type in Wid Betta?

Macrostoma belongs to Unimaculata family while Channoides and Albimarginata belong to the same family Albimarginata
