my last batch of 4 had 2 fatalities - 1 was mauled by bigger rays at birth & the other died probably due to high NO3 (above150- 200ppm) ... |

Hi everyone.I've read the attached file posted by TOM32 on page 2..But for the last part, i sort of do not understand..."And to the ray’s owners, beware not to be stung by the sting…..it is very painful – you must respect the STINGY thing on the ray’s tail.." <- is "respect" the correct word? or he meant "remove" ?? If he meant remove, how do i remove? many many thanks in advance!

Respect means dun underestimate the damage/pain that the Sting can do to you..even how docile or tame your ray may look. they can strike you with lightning speed ..

Is not removing the sting. Is beware of the sting. Even a sting by a pup's sting can cause great pain to you. Regards |

Would pups survive in a tank with constant water change ?
Planning on hooking a 120Litre Tank to change about 50% of water an hour to my main tank as a Pup nursery. Planning to install a heater at the water topping outlet, not sure if this method would work. |
