Default Advice needed in keeping TVR outdoors

Dear fellow members

Will be setting an outdoor black fibreglass pond L=6' by W=3' by H= 8-10 inches at my Patio area which is partially shaded by a ledge above. Thinking of keeping Top View Ranchus.

Need advice on the following:

1) Sun will hit the pond from 10am to 1pm after that totally no sun. Estimate that temp may hit 30 degrees or more on certain "extremely hot" months. Can TVR tolerate such heat?

2) Fumigation done once every fortnight but Patio area is elevated and pond is surrounded by wall. Height of wall more than 6 feet. Will fumes kill the ranchus?

3) How many TVRs can i house in this setup?

4) Can keep other small fishes like platys with TVR?

Many Thanks

2) Fumigation done once every fortnight but Patio area is elevated and pond is surrounded by wall. Height of wall more than 6 feet. Will fumes kill the ranchus?no fish will died if the fumigation medi go into the water.

Bro dun get me wrong. many of the ppl I know keep outdoor for Tvr there are way to overcome temperature.

On the day u do fumigation u may wan to remove ur Tvr in to ur house for temp for one to two days, u may make use this two days to fast ur fish and do 100% cleaning of ur tub. After u fumigation.

Anyway I dun think anyfish can take the fumigate medi. As I know that is toxic to any pet... Let me know if I am wrong
