I agree too, unfortunately being new, I am not sure how fast the plant grow and how tall they will reach.
Right now the hygro difformis‎ is starting to outpace all the other plants inside

I'll have to give them some time and do a rescape of the plants.

The bush plant don't look like an aquatic plant. You had it for long? Is it growing or is it starting to yellow?

Woah 3FT deep! Did you plant it using a snorkel? I'd say it's going to be tough maintaining a scape with that tank. I suggest replacing it with big and easy maintainence plants. I once had a Echinoduorus Rubin that grew almost out of my 2ft height tank. It was big and bushy and took up half the space of my 5ft tank. The leaves from tip to stem was about 3 ft. You could consider something like that or a Tiger Lotus and fill up the empty spaces below with low maint. low light plants like ferns and nanas as big plants will block out alot of light.

Well, that was a huge problem initially. And it still is.
I got myself a 2 feet hemostat and a 1.5 feet tweezer to help me do the planting.
Starting to get the hang of it now.
Whatever I have to do that is near the bottom of the tank, I have to get onto a ladder and bend down into the tank.

I am no expert of planted tank, but I do feel that you will need a "Centre of Attraction" and a theme for your setup. Something that will standout and draw attention to the tank.
