How much does an Aro eat?
Just wondering... the silver aro has grown from 6~7" to ard 1ft+ already.
But hor... the bugger's been eating alot more these days. To the extent of jumping out of the tank to protest What happened was middle of the night, bugger decided to do his classic splashes. I on torch on my mobile and saw... The bugger aiming upwards frm the mid of the tank.. and ZOOM - PIAK - Pik piak pik piak and all i had time to do was "PRINCESS!!! LEAVE IT!!!!!" as the old lady he landed on jumped and was going to slap the bugger..... Seriously, it's just 1 day without food.... and he decided to do a jumper (after splashing water all over the place and spooking my 4 legged old ladies). Currently I've been feeding the fishes whitebait - i usually put in ice cube trays and freeze for ease of feeding and this bugger has been taking like DOUBLE the amt he usually does!! |

I freeze cut white bait into cubes and throw the whole cube in... *zoom* bugger will hole the whole cube in mouth and swim ard till it soften and reduce in size as bits fall off before swallowing whole. Nowadays when bugger swims ard.... the gar will casually swim alongside to snap up the dropping bits |
