Some time I still do see some of those glosso sticking out of the soil too high. And I will just use my finger to press them deeper into the soil. As I planted mine last month, now those newly sprout out glosso are creeping nicely around the soil area without sticking out high.

I take it your ADA soil is brand new? If that's the case, you prob won't need the ferts for a few months at least, unless you have high-demand type flora in the tank. When to do water change is really depending on how quickly your tank cycle is established. Since new ADA soil releases ammonia immediately, having an established BB colony via old unwashed filter wools and in-use medias will greatly speed up the cultivation of the nitrifying bacteria. Best to start doing the water change after the nitrates have spiked and the nitrites have dropped.

Share with you how small patches of my glosso have grown in my tank. Not much light but still spreading well.

Very nice. What's the photo period and any fertilizing regime?

Never use fertilizer for it's a shrimp tank. Plus light at least 10 hours.
