Dont worry bro ATF r famous for wounds healer , they heal fast and don't worry for colour it will turn back to red.

do GATF like very strong current? my wavemaker is pretty strong, 5000lph.

im tihnking of downsizing my wavemaker if its too strong.

They love current in the tank , but not too extreme if the fish is small.

its about 7 inches, big enough i suppose?

how do u tell if the current is too strong for it?

Easy to c if Yr Gatf kana blow away by wavemaker means too strong lor haha. If u use wavemaker they grow hungry faster , they consume more energy .

Sorry for the late reply, havent been in this thread for a while... Current with feeder togather with my Armatus & red fin payara...

No chance to train them... I dun want to take the risk of Hungry Armatus start attracking other fish, so my tank is 24/7 filled with feeders

Try putting in Pellets every now and then. Even with the feeders, there might be a chance that the Payara and ATF will show interest.

You could stuff Pellets into a feeder ala Lumpia Shanghai and let that Payara/ATF eat it.

so far sinking pellets only my VATFs show interest..GATF only eat MP and feeders.. apparently they dont really like shrimps..

I didnt expect the VATF and armatus will take pellets.. At this stage I jus want to pump them BIG
