Might try on your gouramis suggestion.
Currently one of the pnt recovering from shell injuries.
Was in a soft water tank with driftwood, due to fighting with another pnt, and they rushed and injured the shell after crashing against the driftwood.
Sigh!

Thanks bro.
Now it is even bigger.
I really it will be very nice if I could put it into the tangan tank where it will have plenty of space to swim.
But the consequences, I know is not recommended.

What do u feed ur turtle with? Those pellets which I saw?

Recently switched to turtle pellets from Petmart.
One big bag $5
Occasionally feed them blue dempsey and other fishes.
Sigh!
