Default Ph around 7.7

how to lower down the ph to like 6.8?
i add the water from my discus tank?
or i vomit out HCL to put in
RAWR how lower.
the easiest way .

Hahaa, vomit HCl, I like this method!!
Maybe you can try ketapang leaves. Or a higher % of WC, i did about 40% WC for my 2footer.

you can buy the ph minus to lower down the ph value...
i am currently using it...

i took the water from my discus tank.
i tested with my 6.0 to 8.0 ph tester
then its like 6.0
so i like take a bit
and pour bit by bit.
see how it goes =x

think u should buy peats.. like what other bros recommended me.. last time my ph level was 7.8, after adding the peats it was 6.4

The most important thing is: Why do you need to reduce your pH in the first place?

Plants and fishes can live within a wide range between 6-8 and they do not need an acidic value just to survive.

If you do dose CO2, then you should have no problems at all.

But if you insist on lowering the pH then do not use any chemical addictives like pH-Minus or such products, they usually contain sodium by-products or as a result of its dosage, introduce phosphate.

Instead, just use peat in your filter.

BTW, check the pH of your tap water as well. If your tap water has a near-neutral pH, then something in your tank is raising the pH. It should be the rocks or something similar.

cuz i rearing shrimps
it must be like 6.8
but its 7.7
but i added discus tank water.
so later i'll do an update on the water.
yup.
and i use diamond energy water.
so the water a bit alkaline
=x
anything interested in diamond energy water can pm me.
