1.8W compared to the usual 39W light tubes, indeed save alot of electricity.

I just found out my reputation is affected because of another thread that i opened in the Pet Loss of my 2nd NTT... (some idiot zapped me because he felt i am too arrogant ! Such a loser !) Regarding the LED light... if you saw all my posted pictures and video, i am sure for less than $20 and using 1.8W.. i think can try... but i amgoing to silicon the LED joint area just in case water gets in... (The 3 pieces are joined together like LEGO... so if the joint is loose.. and if due to alot of water above the covered glass.. then the LED could be at risk.. another advantage to use silicon so that you can remove it next time if you want to make it shorter and also silicon is water proof. Hope these information helps. |

For all the bros out there A few different models and types. As mentioned before... NOT WATERROOF. use at your own risk / modification. |

But very value for money lol. Brainstorm for cheap waterproofing methods? I heard that you can use old waterproof lightning / aquarium lights tube to house... just an idea |
