Oh my goodness.

Have Liverpool been jinxed?

Following Mohamed Salah’s injury and Karim Benzema’s freak goal, Gareth Bale has just scored an unbelievable overhead kick.

Absolutely unbelievable.

Liverpool trail once more.

Andy Robertson - take a bow!

That’s one of the finest tackles you’re ever likely to see.

Ronaldo is through on goal inside the penalty area, but the Scot produces an awesome sliding block.

He’s kept Liverpool in it there, but Ronaldo was unusually slow to apply the finishing touch.

Could that be the turning point for the Reds?

Looking forward to next season and the players we will be bringing in. There are players that need to be axe, hopefully Klopp be decisive and not be wishy washy.

1st half was excellent, especially Robertson and TAA.
But things went south after Salah went off as RM was able to push up.
Then boo boo, worldly and another boo boo lost the game.
It was always a big ask to win against RM but it was a shame to have all the bad luck happen in the final.
Karius was doing well with some good saves. Hope the mistakes don’t haunt him and kill his career.
RM subs Bale and Asensio... combined worth around £200m.
We put on Lallana....

Great adventure and now back to work to come back stronger next season!

I think reinforcement needed more urgently for outfield players.
One each forward/AM, midfield and defence.
Karius I believe has it to be a very good goalkeeper. If looking for another GK, an experienced one to mentor him will be ideal. But alas, Buffon or even Reina seems to be signing for other clubs.

Oblak will be best if can get him.

I don’t see any chance for Karius, Klopp will be brave to stick with him

Strike force is ok for now but backline most of the time is fragile. We can score many goals but if also let in many goals also no point.

If I am Karius, I will not be going for summer vacation, instead will spend all the time I have on engaging a top notch psychologist or psychiatrist and work out the mental kinks I have. For Karius, there is not much wrong with his technical abilities, but its his mental side that needs a lot of cultivating and strengthening. The mistakes he made in the final were largely due to lack of concentration at key moments and this needs proper sorting or it will come back again in the future.
