Default Arowana with Betta Fins?

Saw this at TPY the other day, din think too much coz it was sooo puny at like 1"? Go into my tank sure mia...

I'm like... Eh.. serious? They grow big? And wad are they? Some kind of hybrid aro?

Seriously is face and body of Aro.. but with the fins tat's so... showy...

I dunno.. my hub was like... yes yes interesting.. but dunno wad fish and how big it can grow and now confirm dio jiak...

and pulled me out of the shop pronto.

not a hybrid. it is an asian arowana.
maybe selectively bred or chemically treated for the "long fins" effect.
they did this for the bristle nose, phantom tetras as well.
I don't think its nice.
Arowana should look like a strong, aggressive swimmer with streamlined body.

This looks like a T rex in purple and pom pom skirt
