Honestly I do not fault HM for blaming JM for his departure. For far too long, he had been used in the incorrect position he was brought in to play. Then he gets humiliated in front of his teammates and also publicly by JM. Then he got frozen out of the team altho JM tried to distant himself from this with excuses.
Altho the other school of thoughts is that if HM was an already established player with all the skills, he should be able to blend in quite easily with the style JM wanted him to play but he failed to deliver.
Nevertheless, if he were to leave (which is probably an understatement), it is indeed a pity to lose such a talented player.

Mkhitaryan on his good days plays very well but he has had his off days too when he was poor. Various reasons why Mkhitaryan has not been playing consistently at United.

- He cannot adapt to defensive duties as required by JM for all players, so perhaps he is not suited to defending.
- He is not a big fish in a small pond but now there are many big fishes at United so perhaps it is difficult to play his best all the time. Many top players from other clubs have signed for United and failed.
- As one pundit mentioned, United is an enormous club and a player has to be able to take the pressure. Some managers were unable to handle the pressure too.

If he eventually leaves United, I wish him all the best and remember the positive memories of his play.

Ok...wait for announcement later. Seems like it's all done... AS is going thru his medical formality at the club.

That he was excluded by AW for the Palace game speaks volume of the chances of this transfer

Shaw back to bench after being praised as best left back by JM...

Sometimes we really wonder what is going thru JM's mind. On the one hand he said Shaw was one of the best left back yet he feels comfortable to leave Shaw on the bench after Young is fit to play. Very mixed ideas to his players
