You should get 10,000K or 20,000K bulbs. You can have a mix. IMO 1 or 2 tubes of actinic blue light would be sufficient.

btw, in terms of lighting, wad would u guys recommend?
If your on a budget, HO T5s would be the best you can get and still be able to keep a wide range of corals(Assuming you use proper parabolic reflectors). The next alternative are PLs but they are definitely much less efficient than HO T5s and hence not as value for money.

kalib has said 4x39W HO T5 lighting, but is this inc of blue lights or excluding?
As mentioned above.

thats kinda out of my budget..
i tink i may hv to settle for PL..
for PL, wad rating, wattage, and how many do i need to be able to keep most corals/other photosynthetic things?

PLs are expensive to change
Go for T5s, you won't regret it

You would need at least 4x36W PLs. PLs are not value for money IMO considering how cheap HO T5s can be these days. Watt for Watt, HO T5s beat PLs.

An alternative is to buy the materials from bro Orgasbt in this forum and DIY the HO T5 lightset yourself. Should be able to save some money compared to buying the retrofit from LFS.

Yes I agree with Kalib
T5s are very easy to DIY and the prices are going down so it'll be affordable and good
One point to note though, some T5s might be expensive but it is worth the extra cash in terms of intensity and lifespan

A 4x36W PL lightset from LFS should cost you $100+ at least, if not $200+.

As i have not bought PL lights for a long while, sorry can't advise you on the cost of PL bulbs. Anyone who is familiar can advise?

For HO T5s, Aquaz are selling relatively cheap HO T5 bulbs at around $20+ per tube depending on wattage.
