because I tested the skimmer and nothing was wrong. Maybe you placed the skimmer too high from the water level?

Well, no matter where you place the skimmer, there will be bubbles
formed on the surface. When the bubbles burst, there will always
be some water "splashing" out. That's why I changed to venturi.
Both because of that and venturi skims better from what I read.

Lowering the water level is out as my tank is only 1 ft high.

bubbles from the cup, or from the skimmer output?
If the bubbles are from the cup, shouldnt there be a lit to fit on the cup?
anyway it works fine for me, just hope that it doesnt do like what you said when I add LS.

i am looking for a decent skimmer. where can i get this venturi skimmer? name of shop and address and if possible phone # pls...

i have just bought a packet of 5kg corallife salt for $18 and the 3.3kg selling $15.

any comment? i m a new bird, i need some feedbacks just to know did i make the right choice. if not i will not buy the same thing ever again...

I got mine coralife marine salt 3.3kg at $11.50 ! ..
TAKE NOTE : No sure if your batch is the same as mine, but do check if your package got contain a small package of mix vitamins and trace elements.
