price on salt.

i have used red sea salt in my very 1st marine tank..
but after many months in this hobby,heard that red sea salt isnt that good..
heard from a lfs that red sea salt are be bought by seafood restaurant for their fishes waitin to be serve on the table..

ppl usually rate salt according 2 the solubility(correct me if i'm wrong). of cos at tat kind of price u dun expect it 2 b like topic marine.

No, they dun hav it there. think they oni got tetra, azoo n a few others.

the other boss is my good fren.. but he dun sell much marine stuffs.

today I bought a few items from the LFS you mentioned.
It seems to me like one of the LFS is into fishes, the other is into equipment.
anyway, items there are cheap, but not all items.
I bought these items:

1. Nirox protien skimmer $11.
2. Hygrometer $4.50
3. 4 kg Red Sea salt $11.90
4. Air pump $4.90

I out of the 4 items, I only think the salt and pump is cheap, the rest are same with other LFS.
But its definately a good place to get items if you're on a tight budget.

is item 1 air driven?? shd b as u bought an air pump. y didnt go 4 weipro instead??
never grab any seachem supplements??? they r dirt cheap.
there is oni 1 reason y the rest of the items r the same price as other LFS.. u know y???

I believe you will throw away the air-driven skimmer soon.
I discarded mine after 2 day's trial as the bubbles cause
the salt-water to spray all over.
