Default SNAKE in the pond!!!

My worker got a shock that day when I ask him go down to help me clear the debris in the pond. He was using water pump to suck out the poo and dead leaves, when my "snake" popped its head out from its hiding place to take a breath. He run out of the pond shouting, upon seeing it, 'Snake!' 'Snake!'

It send me laughing. Tell him is not a snake, but a fish.

It cant even climb the 45cm wall, but it can only slip from pond to pond. I usually cant see it unless it comes out to take feeders or a breather. Provide them with many hiding place under the steps into the pond.

Anyway seem like the nearest id is asian swamp eel.
