need advice on pump for the sump tank

sorry for the noob question. recently my sump tank pump is getting noisy . thinking of changing it. how do you all go about doing it? as the pipe is tape to the pump. and do I have to buy the same pump for the height of the pipe might be different?

and if I pluck it out does it going to affect anything?

Measure the height, see the size of the hose/connector if you want to change to a different pump. Also take note of the pump rate too if it is not the same brand.

buy the same model if u want least problems.
if that is impossible, buy something you'll like.

If the pipe is too short for the pump outlet, stack jap map beneath the pump.
If the pipe is too long, got to remove the pipe to adjust.
