Definitely WRONG. With LIMITED Resources, of course have to base on Nationality then Merit. If a family is very poor, will that head of family go round feeding others instead of his/her own family first?
Will Mr.B donate most of his salary to the poor in other countries first before spending on his own. |

I'm gonna be slapped silly for this..
But this is a scholarship. PERSONALLY, all along have been based on merit. Not juz grades good. But the paper you write for application also plays a part BURSARY, on the other hand... is a diff issue. And SPONSORSHIP for those ppl... is yet another issue. Time to add in upright character into the equation for SCHOLARSHIPS. |

If the scholarship money is from Edusave or Singapore government, or local company, then of course and logically will be given to Singaporeans onli. Juz like Ngee Ann Kongsi got a scholarship that is given onli to their own dialect group.
So it all depends on who own the money from the scholarship. If it's from Mr.B himself, then of course, he decide. |

On that logic, serving National Service should be based on Residency, not Nationality...
